CDGK establishes veterinary flood relief camps

The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has established 13 veterinary aid centres in different parts of city and surrounding rural areas for prompt vaccination and treatment of livestock in emergency situations during the rains. This action has been taken as a precautionary measure to avoid the possibility of an outbreak of contagious diseases in livestock due to rains and floods.

On the directives of Karachi Administrator Karachi Fazlur Rehman, the Livestock Department of the City District Government, Karachi, under the supervision of District Officer Dr Nasrullah Panhwar, has made all arrangements to face any emergency. The City District Government Karachi has also provided vaccines and life-saving drugs to treat the affected livestock.
