Two people were killed in separate incidents in the city on Friday. Ahmed was shot dead in Sharea Noor Jehan police limits. Police said that the deceased was a watchman at the house of Naseem, a bank officer residing in Shadman No-2, Sharea Noor Jehan. On Friday morning, Ahmed had a quarrel with a security guard Peer Bux, who took out his pistol and shot him. The victim died on the spot while Bux managed to flee. The deceased and the killer both hail from Sukkur. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
In a separate case, Abdullah, 32 was shot dead in Sohrab Goth police limits. Police said that the incident occurred in Dhani Bux Goth where Abdullah and Ali Gul had an ongoing land dispute. Due to indiscriminate fire, Abdullah, Rehan, Gul Sher and one unidentified man were injured. The injured were shifted to a hospital where Abdullah succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
