NAZEER HUSSAIN UNIVERSITY WILL BECOME A MILESTONE IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION IN PAKISTAN: DR A Q KHAN




Renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadir Khan visited Nazeer Hussain University on Saturday and praised MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain for establishing a university for the people belonging to the poor and middle classes. He said that the NHU would prove to be a milestone in the field of education in the country and hope that more such institutions would be established in the future.


Dr Khan regretted that a uniform system of education did not exist in the country. He said that a uniform system of education should be established. He said it was the duty of every citizen of Pakistan to keep education safe from politics.


Dr Khan inspected departments of Architecture, Computer Science and Business Administration and praised the work done. He also gave useful advices for bringing further improvement.


Dr Khan said that there were educated people in the MQM. He said his own father was a school headmaster. He offered fateha for late Nazeer Hussain, the father of Mr Altaf Hussain, and appealed to the philanthropic people to donate generously for the university.


Earlier, Dr Khan was received at the NHU by provincial ministers Mr Rauf Siddiqui, Mr Shaikh Muhammad Afzal, Mr Faisal Sabzwari and Senator Abdul Haseeb. He was warmly welcomed and presented a bouquet on behalf of Mr Hussain.
